참고로,"12 Days of Christmas"라는 것은, 크리스마스 다음날 부터 12일까지를 말하는 것인데, 이 최후의 12일은, 1월 6일 즉, 주현절을 가리키는 말로서, 동방의 세박사가 예수앞에 나타난 날이기도 합니다. 우리가 일반적으로 알고 있는 노엘(Noel)이라는 말도 프랑스어로 그냥 크리스마스만을 의미하기도 하지만, 이 기간 전체를 칭하기도 할만큼, 서양에서는, 이 12 Days축제 가 보편화되어 있습니다.
